Fuel Monitoring

Fuel’s Tight Right Now.
Don’t Waste It.

Fuel is becoming more unpredictable across Australia, and for many operations, it’s one of the biggest operating costs on site.

When you don’t have clear visibility, fuel gets overused, mismanaged, or worse, runs out when you need it most.

Smithtek gives you a simple way to stay in control.

How it works

Three Parts. One System

1. Mako PLC (On Site)
Installed at your fuel tank, generator or bowser, the Mako PLC reads fuel levels using sensors such as ultrasonic, pressure or float inputs. It can also monitor generator run status, alarms and other key signals.

2. PassPort Gateway (Communications)
The PassPort collects this data and securely transmits it using 4G, RF, WiFi or satellite depending on your site. Designed for remote environments, it keeps your data moving even in challenging conditions.

3. Smithtek Cloud (Visibility & Control)
All data is displayed in a simple dashboard, giving you live fuel levels, usage trends and alerts.
Access it from your phone, tablet or desktop… anywhere.

WHAT YOU CAN SEE & DO

✔ Live fuel levels across tanks and sites
✔ Track fuel usage over time
✔ Monitor generator runtime and status
✔ Set alerts for low fuel or abnormal usage
✔ Access historical data for reporting
